Born on Nov. 13, 1984 passed away suddenly at the age of 29 on August 19, 2014.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Albert & Edith Hutchins; father, John Alexander MacMillan (Sandy); uncles: Albert, Ambrose, Bert and Frank Hutchins; Aunts, Rose Grant and Margaret Holmberg.
He leaves behind “His Partner in Crime” – “Buzz”, his Jack Russell; Mother Linda-Lee Hutchins; brothers Allen and Gordon McCallum; sister Chrystal-Lee McCallum as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
We will miss him and his infectious laugh and mischievous smile, which always left you wondering what he was up to, or was planning to do. He had a generous and large heart and gave to all who knew him. John loved to play his guitar and according to him, “He was getting pretty damn good” and he was! Going camping, geocaching, and sitting by the campfire with his family and friends and of course “Buzz” – his first and foremost best friend, were his favorite past times.
After his dad’s passing he said to his mother, “Family is not always blood related – it is for everyone whom you care for and who cares for you. Treasure them, one and all, while you can.”
