Kenneth John Davies

Kenneth John Davies passed away on March 2, 2017, at the age of 69, in Mission, B.C. He is pre-deceased by his wife of 36 years, Florence (Flo) Davies. Ken is lovingly remembered by his daughter Andrea; son Kyle (Sally, and grandchildren Hannah and Ellie); sister Shirley (Delbert, and niece Kathleen); brother Bob (Pam) and sisters-in-law Ann (Cliff) and Evelyn (Paul) .Ken loved volunteering with “Seeds of Hope,” a ministry to orphans based in Abbotsford. Through his involvement with Mission Bible Fellowship, he made 12 mission trips to Mexico and Africa to build or repair housing for orphanages. An avid fisherman, he could always be found on the Fraser River each summer during the Sockeye season, and generously shared his catch with others. Ken loved to hike in the Pacific Northwest , and hiked sections of the Appalachian Trail several times. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 10, at Mission Alliance Church, 34203 Dewdney Trunk Rd. Mission, BC. Reception to follow at Mission Bible Fellowship 33479 8th Ave. Mission, BC. In lieu of flowers, Ken requested that donations be made to Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry (seedsofhopecm.com)
