94 Years of Age
Bill is survived by his wife Velma, his sister Mary and predeceased by his brother John. Bill passed away peacefully, holding his wife’s hand, and with family at his side. He was a loving husband to Velma for 71 years, and a wonderful father of 4; Barbara (Mark), Bob, Bill Jr. (Bern), and Ron (Teresa). He also cherished his 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Bill was our hero, a Canadian veteran and his profession was a watchmaker, which he was still doing up to his passing. He passed away in Mission Hospital, after a fall. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A private family memorial will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the veteran’s fund.
