Eleanor Mary Dundon

Eleanor Mary Dundon (nee McKenna), age 91, of Santa Clarita, California, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2016 of natural causes. A memorial service will be held at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 11th. Father Norm Kupacek will be officiating. Eleanor was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 24th, 1924. She was married to William H. Dundon Jr. Eleanor worked at Scott Foresman & Company. After retirement from Scott Foresman, she worked at Long Grove Confectionery, a job she greatly enjoyed. Eleanor also enjoyed frequent trips to California to visit her daughter and her family. Eleanor eventually moved to California in 2009, residing in initially Stevenson Ranch, then in Canyon Country. Eleanor was the daughter of Andrew J. McKenna and Ellen "Nellie" Toomey. Eleanor is survived by her sister Catherine Watts, her daughter Kathy Ann Chomuk, her son William Warren Dundon, and her grandchildren Carolyn Ann Dundon, Nicole Marie Dundon and Colin Warren Chomuk.
