Ana Linda Hinojosa, 63, danced her way into Heaven on February 18, 2026. Ana Linda was a woman of deep faith, boundless creativity, and a heart far bigger than this world could hold. Married to the love of her life, Noe David Hinojosa, she built a home filled with laughter, music, faith, and the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies and cupcakes.

Ana Linda was born in Mercedes Texas to parents Raul Gonzalez and Maria Lydia Cavazos. She is preceded by her mother.

Ana Linda was the proud and devoted mother of Roland Perez Jr. (Melissa), Kristine Perez (Jose), and Ryan Perez (Alisandra). She was also the adored “Grammi Lin” to Derek, Luke, Nathan, Adonis, and Aiden — each of whom held a very special piece of her heart. Her siblings, Nelda Rodriguez (Martin), Cindy Navarro (Arturo), and Rick Stambaugh, shared in a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, and just enough silliness to keep things interesting.

To know Ana Linda was to know joy. She was the life of the party — the first to dance, the loudest to laugh, and the one making sure everyone had eaten before she even filled her own plate. A talented candle maker, gift wrapper, and bow creator, Ana Linda had a gift for turning ordinary things into something beautiful. Her creativity wasn’t just a business — it was an extension of her spirit. If it sparkled, smelled good, or could be topped with a perfectly fluffed bow, Ana Linda had mastered it.

She loved her James Avery jewelry, never missed a Hallmark movie moment, and cherished her time watching Little House on the Prairie. She was a folklórico dancer at heart — graceful, vibrant, and proud of her culture. Whether baking cookies and cupcakes or spinning across a dance floor, Ana Linda brought warmth wherever she went.

Even through illness, Ana Linda remained what she had always been: kind, considerate, and more concerned about everyone else’s well-being than her own. Her generosity knew no limits. She gave freely — her time, her love, her faith, her baked goods — and never asked for anything in return.

And we cannot forget her loyal companion, her beloved dog, Scuffy Hinojosa ✝, who faithfully protected her whenever Noe was away. Together, they made quite the team.
