He loved barbequing, mechanicing on his lawnmowers, attending to his cherished plants, watching boxing and supporting his favorite team, the Houston Astros. He was a devoted member of Iglesia Cantico Nuevo in Donna, Tx for over 30yrs and was a dedicated and proud bus driver for Donna ISD for over 27 years. He was committed to his sons and made it a point to attend all their games and practices. He loved being able to play softball with them as adults and share his competitive drive. He was a gentle giant and had a strength that was beyond measure. He will be dearly missed for his ability to make everyone feel welcomed and for his endless patience and kindness.
Even in the darkest day, since we’ve been apart. Memories of the times we shared, help to warm my heart. Every day I miss the smile that no one can replace. But still it brings me comfort in the sadness that I face. Life is full of mysteries, that no one can explain. But I know someday, we will meet again. Until we do, I’ll find the strength to live through each new day. Grateful for the happy years, before you went away.
