

Candida Yoli Chavez, born on February 6, 1976, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2025, at the age of 49. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Candida leaves behind her loving mother, Yolanda Segovia, her cherished son, Seth Huerta (Karla), and her adored grandson, Ian James Huerta, along with her loving siblings, Anissa Olivia Guerrero (Fabian) and Lori Lee Chavez. She also leaves behind her nephew, Daniel Victor Valdez, grand nephew Caleb Elijah Valdez, and nephew, Robert Alejandro Valdez. She was preceded in death by her sister, Amanda Gossett.
Candida worked as a legal assistant for the law firm of Fabian Guerrero, where her dedication and hard work were appreciated by all who knew her. Outside of her professional life, Candida was a vibrant and fun-loving soul. She found joy in simple pleasures like playing board games—especially Uno and Bingo—with her family. Her love for reality TV kept her entertained, and she always had a song in her heart, enjoying music, singing, and dancing whenever she could. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her handsome little boy, her grandson Ian, creating precious memories with him.
Candida was also a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, cheering them on with the same energy and enthusiasm that she brought to all things she loved. Her warmth, humor, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Candida's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, as well as in the memories of the countless moments of love, laughter, and joy she shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rest in peace, Candida. You will forever be loved and missed.
