He is survived by his loving wife Tomasa Barrera; his children Leticia Sanchez(Pedro), Brenda Barrera and Mary Hurst(Dean); 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and by his sisters Maria Aguilar and Elena Luera.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Iglesia La Vid Verdadera, 6816 N La Homa Rd. Mission, Texas at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
