He is preceded in death by his parents Guadalupe and Natividad Gonzalez; and by his son Eladio Gonzalez Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife Tomasa H. Gonzalez; his children Raul Gonzalez, Tomasa Gonzalez, Lupita Gonzalez, Nati Cabrera, Janie Gonzalez, Lizbeth Cardenas and Elizabeth De Leon. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Remembrance in Mission from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 5, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
