Elidia Olivarez

Elidia was a beautiful woman who loved God, loved people, and loved life. She was a blessing to all who knew her. She loved making people happy and did that best by sharing her amazing food and baked goods with others. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and daughter; she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Servando and Cristina Cantu; her daughter Linda Cristina Olivarez Tamez and by her brother Rev. Arnulfo Cantu.

She is survived by her husband Delfino Olivarez; her children Delfino Olivarez Jr., Elizabeth Olivarez Gonzalez(Abel), Rick Olivarez(Maria Elena), Danny Olivarez(Tina) and Cindy Cervantez(Roy); her grandchildren Isaac Tamez, Xylia Gonzalez, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Denise Gonzalez, Cristina Gonzalez, Norma E. Olivarez, Rick Olivarez Jr., Lynda Olivarez, Allyssa Olivarez, Sophia Olivarez, Roy A. Cervantes and Aaron Cervantes; her great grandchildren Danielle, Dylan, Isaac Jr., Aaron, Aaliyah and Aaiden. She is also survived by her sisters Armida Carmona(+Onesimo) and Becky Cantu.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at BT McAllen on 2001 Trenton Road from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at BT McAllen at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel of Mission.
