Elvita, as she was known to her family and friends, married José G. Ramírez in 1964, and together they raised three daughters and four sons. She is survived by Mr. José G Ramírez and their seven children: Susie Escobedo, Zulema Palma, Mari Cardona, Juan Ramírez, José G Ramírez Jr., Josué Ramírez, and Vicente Ramírez; twenty grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren; her sisters Lupita Domínguez and Irma Pérez; brothers Ruben, Jesús, and Ramón Pérez.
Her parents, sisters- María Pérez, Rosy González and Natividad Gutierrez, granddaughters- Robyn and Analisa Escobedo, precede her in awaiting the Lord's return, when they will be resurrected and taken to their heavenly home.
Elvita shared God's message, in words and actions. She will be remembered for her kindness, humbleness, patience, friendliness, and generosity- among many other God-given qualities. She enjoyed embroidering, playing lotería, and listening to music.
When visiting Mom (Mami)/Grandma (Abuelita), no son, daughter, or grandchild left without first reciting, after her, a Bible verse. Every card she gave or letter she wrote, had the Bible written in it- as many verses as she could fit in.
She served the Lord and trusted that on that glorious day, when her Saviour returns, she will rise from her resting place to meet Him and "dwell in the house of the Lord, forever." "A virtuous woman- who shall find?..." Proverbs 31
