It is with great sadness that the family of Erik Steven Navarro, announces his passing. Erik departed this world unexpectedly on April 16, 2026 at the age of 35. He was a beloved: Son, Brother, Father, Nephew, Cousin, and Loyal Friend. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Erik Steven Navarro was born on November 9, 1990 in Dallas, Texas, to Hortencia Mata, Mother and Juan Jose Navarro, Father. Throughout his life Erik was known for his Cheerful Character, Fitness Enthusiast, Sports Fanatic, and Bright Mind.

Erik's most meaningful achievement was being a Loving and Devoted Father to Lina, Derik, and Jolisa.

Family and Friends will remember his Vibrant Spirit and Great Smile! He will always be in our Thoughts and Forever in Our Hearts until we are re-united once more with our Heavenly Father in Heaven.

He is survived with deep sorrow by Lina Marie Navarro, Daughter; Derik Jason Navarro, Son; Jolisa Irene Ibarra, Step-Daughter; Juan Jose Navarro, Father; Hortencia Mata, Mother; Reynaldo Mata, Step-Father; Chavy Navarro, Brother; Nabora Vasquez, Maternal Grandmother; Concepción Navarro, Paternal Grandmother; Eliza Ibarra, Mother of his children and many Tias, Tios, Cousins, and Friends.

Erik Steven Navarro was preceded in death by Cynthia Navarro, Sister; Nicolas Vasquez, Maternal Grandfather; Juan Navarro, Paternal Grandfather; Olga Martinez, Tia.

The family invites relatives and friends to celebrate Erik Steven Navarro's life at Funeraria del Angel in Mission on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5pm to 9pm with a service at 7pm. Second viewing will be on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 9am to 12pm with a Funeral service at 12pm followed by burial at Valley Memorial Gardens.
