

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Esther Marina Ramirez, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 85.
Born on April 15, 1940, in Cuba to the late Luis and Begnina Calderon, Esther lived a life full of devotion, joy, and strength. She shared 64 beautiful years of marriage with her late husband, Rolando Jose Ramirez, a partnership marked by deep love and unshakable commitment.
Esther was the proud matriarch of a large and loving family. She leaves behind her cherished children: Esther Lara (Hector † ) Jose Luis Ramirez (Christina), Maria Elena Ortega (David), and Rolando Jose Ramirez Jr. (Isabel). Her legacy lives on through her 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her guidance, warmth, and unwavering love. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Ana Luisa Calderon and Bertha Calderon.
A woman of many talents and tireless work ethic, Esther was the heart of Mission Tile, a business she helped lead and nurture for 54 years. She wore many hats with grace and determination, serving her community and family through her dedication.
In her younger years, Esther was deeply involved with the Sacred Heart Church, where she found strength in her faith and community. She had a zest for life and adventure—whether casting a line at the beach, enjoying trips to Las Vegas, or exploring new corners of the world, Esther embraced every moment with joy.
Holidays and family gatherings were especially meaningful to her. She had a special gift for making birthdays unforgettable and Christmases magical, creating traditions and memories that will be treasured forever.
Above all, Esther was a loving mother and a pillar for those around her. She had a rare intuition—always knowing just what was needed—and gave of herself fully, with kindness, wisdom, and boundless love.
She will be remembered for her generosity, her vibrant spirit, and the enduring love she gave so freely. Esther’s life was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will forever live in our hearts.
