

Fidel was preceded in death by his father Jose Morales González and his mother Isidora Morales Cuevas.
Fidel is survived by his spouse, Yolanda Garcia; his son: Alejandro Garcia and his daughters: Alma Aguirre (Tony); Sandra Gutierrez (Felix); Brenda Garcia-Wessel (Kraig); and Lorena Garcia; and five siblings: Gregorio Morales (Maria); Sabino Morales (Mary); Donaciano Morales (Angelina); Cutberta Morales Silva; and Maria Jesus Morales Cuevas.
Fidel also leaves six grandchildren to cherish his memory: Andrew Aguirre, Gabriel Aguirre, Isabella Aguirre, Christian Gutierrez, Noah Gutierrez and Lucas Wessel.
Fidel affectionately also known as “Chalin” will be remembered for always lending a helping hand especially to those in need and for his heartwarming storytelling and chistes.
He will also be remembered for the formative impact he had on his children. He taught each of them to drive, made sure they spent summers reading books at the McAllen Public Library and instilled in them the importance of a college education.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens.
