Fidel was born and raised in a Joya, TX to Eduardo and Aurora Salinas in November 1964. Fidel put his family above everything else; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, son, brother, uncle, friend, devoted dog owner and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.
To know Fidel was to love, laugh and appreciate his brilliance, and wisdom. His absence leaves a great void that will never be repaired.
Fidel is preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Salinas Sr. and his brother Eduardo Salinas Jr.
He is survived by his best friend and wife, Brenda Lee Salinas, his son Fidel Salinas Jr. (Amber Arriaga-Salinas), daughter-in-law and Sienna Noel Salinas, granddaughter), his daughter, Louenda Lee Salinas Garza (Adrian Garza, son-in-law and Adrian Azael Garza, grandson), his mother, Aurora Salinas and his beloved sisters and brothers and nieces and nephews.
A private service for family will be held on Thursday, July 29th and a public funeral service and procession will be help on Friday, July 30th at 11AM at the Lord & I Peñitas Cemetery.
