Jose is preceded in death by his loving wife, Rebecca Anzaldua Cantu and his daughter, Rebecca Ruby Cantu; parents, Jose Santos Cantu and Margarita Martinez Cantu; sibling, Ricardo Cantu
He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Cantu Arredondo (Joe), Deena Cantu Calderon (Nicholas); grandchildren, Ruby Isabella Arredondo, Adeline Zoey Arredondo, Damian Jose Villarreal; sibling Margaret Cantu; and "Baby" his chihuahua.
Visitation will be held on Sunday October 16, 2022 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel, with the Prayer Service at 7:00 pm.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Baptist Temple Church, 2001 Trenton Rd, McAllen, TX 78504, with the burial to follow at 1:00 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens.
