He was preceded in death by his wife Sara Luna; his parents Erasto and Brijida Luna; and his siblings Erasto Luna, Eulalio Luna and Alejandra Luna.
Jose is survived by his loving children San Juan Luna, Mireya(Julio) Saenz, Martha(Baldomero) Briseño, Jose(Sonia Garcia) Luna, Sara(Leo) Garcia, Roberta Moreno and Sylvia(Reynold) Robles. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel, from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm with a rosary recited at 6:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
