Luz Maria G. Aguirre

Luz Maria G. Aguirre, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on September 30, 1932, to Manuel E. Gonzalez Velasquez and Refugio Quesada de Gonzalez. Luz was a woman of warmth, love, and remarkable strength.

Luz was married for 63 wonderful years to her beloved husband, Jose A. Aguirre Noriega, who preceded her in death. Together, they traveled the world, sharing their love and creating lasting memories. Luz’s greatest joy came from her family, and she was especially fond of spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Luz Williamson (Dale E), and her grandchildren, Blake M. Williamson, Brooke M. Williamson, Alyson M. Williamson, Samantha Aguirre, and Colby M. Aguirre. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Alexa, Gabriel, and Daniela. Luz is also survived by her brother, Manuel Gonzalez Quesada (Sofia).

In addition to her parents and spouse, Luz was preceded in death by her son, Jose Manuel Aguirre (Carol Ann), and two brothers, Eduardo Gonzalez Quesada (Estella Acosta Galvan), Francisco Gonzalez Quesada (Maria Yolanda) and daughter in law Maria de Pilar Araceli Acosta Galvan.

Luz was a gifted cook, and one of her favorite dishes to make was her beloved grapefruit pie, which she often shared with those she loved. Her home was always warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, a reflection of her loving spirit. Above all, Luz was a devoted wife and mother, who cherished the bonds of family and friendship.
