Manuela Uresti

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Manuela Uresti of Rio Grande City, Texas. She passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the age of 82. Manuela was born on October 5, 1940. She lived most of her life in Rio Grande City and Edinburg, Texas. She is processed in death by, her husband Eulalio Uresti, son Juan E. Uresti, and parents Manuel and Leonarda Hinojosa. She is survived by her children; Gerardo (Sonia) Uresti, Jorge (Brenda) Uresti, Alejandra Gonzalez, Maricela Uresti, Emma (Alfredo) Lopez, and Veronica (Jorge) Hinojosa. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

A public visitation for Manuela will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM - August 15, 2023 (overnight visitation) 9:30 AM. A rosary will occur Monday, August 14, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A dismissal & procession to church will occur Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A mass will occur Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 620 N Dunlap, Mission, Texas. A burial will occur Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78572.

Manuela loved family gatherings; playing bingo, loteria, and cards.
