Margarita G. Moreno

Margarita G. Moreno danced into the pearly gates of heaven on Sunday morning May 22nd, 2022, at her home in McAllen, Texas. She was born in Alton, Texas on February 13th, 1934 to Anselmo and Josefa Gonzalez.

She is the proud mother of Eloy (Janice), Hortencia (Max), Nanci,+Eusebio (Diane), Araceli (Glenn), +Miraida, and Raul Adolfo (JerryLynn). She was an amazing grandmother to 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was a successful business woman who built a used furniture business from the ground up. Margie's Re-Mark-Able was open from 1985-2006. Margie was a faithful prayer warrior and always kept her family in earnest prayer, we all knew we were covered by her nightly prayers. Margie was the matriarch of 63 descendants, all of whom will miss her very much. She is preceded in death by her two children Miraida Moreno & Eusebio Herrera. Rest In Peace grandma, we will hold your memory in our hearts and know that we have you watching over us.

Viewing will be from 3pm-7pm followed by a celebration of life service at 7PM on Friday May 27th, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573.

The funeral service will take place at 12PM on Saturday May 28th, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel with the interment to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens at 1PM.
