

Carmen is survived by her children, Norma Rodriguez, Raul "Teresa" Cervantes, Nelda Garza Christina "Arellano" Magallan & Erika "Ruben Jr." Salazar She leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great grandchildren. Also loved by numerous nieces and nephews.
Carmen is preceded in death by her Husband, Enedino Cervantes, Her Father Santiago "Jimmy" Salazar, Her Mother Antonia Vargas, Her Brother Oscar Salazar, Her sister Zolia Chavez, her son, Ruben Rodriguez and her Grandson Jose Manual Garza Jr.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Becky Garza for being Ama's provider and always by her side. Erika Cervantes for the care of Ama. To the Staff at Compassionate Hospice.
Ama will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, but we are comforted in knowing that she is resting in peace with our Lord.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me on that day and not only me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing" 2 Timothy, Chapter 4: 7-8.

Visitation will be on February 18th, 2022 from 2 pm to 9 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be 8:45 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, TX. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens, Taylor Rd.
Funeral Arrangements are entrusted under the care of Funeraria del Angel.
