She is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Nohemi Ollervidez; and by her brother Juan Ollervidez.
She is survived by her husband Jesus M. Valencia; her children Johnny I. Torres Jr., Vianney Torres and Sashanelly(Byron Pineda); her grandchildren Luis Edgar Martinez, Wendy Torres, Natalie A. Ollervidez, Lucas I. Leija, Mateo Ollervidez, Xamira Loera, Xantiago Loera and Wilfredo Pineda; her great-grandson Valentin Izack Leija; and by her siblings Nora Garcia, Susana Ibarra, Blanca Lara, Gerardo Ollervidez, Martha Ollervidez, Juan Ollervidez and Lorena Gonzalez.
In lieu of cut floral arrangements, the family requests live plants or potted arrangements.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church in McAllen. Burial and military honors will follow at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
