Rev. Melitón Ramirez, 67, of McAllen, Texas went to live in his celestial home on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Josefina Ramirez, his two brothers Ubaldo Ramirez and Ruben Ramirez; and by his father in law Canuto Ortiz. Melitón is survived by his wife of 47 years Ofelia Ortiz Ramirez, his two sons Melitón Ramirez Jr. and Alberto Ramirez, his two daughters Evelin Ramirez and Yanira Ramirez, 11 grandchildren Alberto Rolando Ramirez, Marina Araceli Ramirez, Kevin Caleb Ramirez, Bryan Ramirez, Alejandro Antonio Ramirez, Amanda Elaine Ramirez, Emiliano Ramirez, Malena Valeria Ramirez, Rebecca Nicole Ramirez, Francisco Esteban Herrera and Salma Sofia Ramirez; his three brothers Alfonso (Dominga) Ramirez, Jesus (Maria) Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez; two sisters Noemi (Guadalupe) Longoria and Elda Ramirez; his mother in law Socorro Ortiz; his nephews and nieces from both the Ramirez and Ortiz Families whom he loved so very much and finally the countless upon countless of his Spiritual sons and daughters.
