With profound love and deep sorrow, we remember Olga Bermea Garza, born February 7, 1954, in Falfurrias, Texas, and peacefully called home on January 21, 2026. Olga was the beloved daughter of Guadalupe Bermea and Dalia Contreras. Her life reflected faith, joy, devotion, and an enduring love for her family.
Olga was the devoted wife of Francisco Garza Sr., her husband of 51 years. Their marriage stood as a quiet example of loyalty, partnership, and steady love. Together, they created a home that felt open and welcoming to all—a place filled with laughter, care, and familiar comforts. Olga took pride in her home and in the life she and Francisco built together. One of her greatest joys was dancing with her husband, moments that reflected their closeness and the happiness they shared throughout their years together.
She leaves behind her cherished children, Maribel Lee Garza-Morris (Chad Wesley) and Francisco Garza Jr. (Patricia Robles), who were the center of her heart. Olga was a steady, loving presence, offering guidance, encouragement, and unconditional support through every season of their lives.
Olga was a proud and devoted grandmother to Michelle Lee Yanez, Marcos Yanez Jr., and Alyssa Mireya Martinez (Alejandro), and a loving great-grandmother to Camila Lee’ana Yanez, who brought her deep happiness. Known affectionately as “Lila” to her grandchildren and later “Lala” after the arrival of her great-grandchild, she embraced each name with joy and meaning.
She is survived by her loving siblings Alma Rendon, Angelita Vera, Thelma Solis, Diana Garza, Olivia Garza, and Pedro Bermea. She was preceded in death by her siblings Juan Bermea, Eutiquio Bermea, Ricardo Bermea, Oralia Gutierrez, and Dalia Garza, whom she now joins in eternal rest.
Olga was a God-fearing woman with a joyful spirit. She had a natural warmth that drew people in and made them feel at ease. Known for her laughter and quick wit, she was often the life of the gathering. Beyond her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother, Olga was a treasured friend and sister, a loyal, attentive, and deeply caring to those she loved.
A gifted cook, Olga’s kitchen was the heart of the home. Family and friends will forever remember her arroz, carne guisada, chicken salad, and pineapple upside-down cake, meals that brought people together and created lasting memories.
Even in difficult moments, Olga's spirit stayed bright, her love steady, and her presence comforting.
Above all, Olga Bermea Garza loved deeply and lived fully. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, laughter, family, and devotion that will continue through the lives she touched.

Though she will be deeply missed, her love remains, present in memory, family, and the quiet moments that remind us she is still near.
