She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Ruby Cantu; parents, Francisco and Francisca; siblings, Federico Anzaldua, Carlos Anzaldua, Lucio Anzaldua and Raquel Anzaldua Vargas.
Rebecca is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jose Santos Cantu Jr.; daughters, Debbie Cantu Arredondo (Joe), Deena Cantu Calderon (Nicholas); grandchildren, Ruby Isabella Arredondo, Adeline Zoey Arredondo, Damian Jose Villarreal; siblings, Brijida Jasso, Dorita Soto, Juan Anzaldua and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel, with the Prayer Service at 7:00 pm.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 12:00 pm at BT Church, 2001 Trenton Rd, McAllen, TX 78504, with the burial to follow at 1:15 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens.
