Mr. Arevalo, a resident of McAllen, Tx, is survived by his wife, Lilia P. Arevalo. His daughter, Laura (Mario) Moran. Sons: Alexander (Felipa) Arevalo and Roy Edward Arevalo, and daughter, Gloria Ann (Hiram) Garza. He's also survived by five grandchildren: Jarius Garza, Jayden Garza, Felicity Arevalo, Alezay Arevalo and Gianna Moran. As well as, his mother, Soila L. Arevalo and ten siblings, with numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy enjoyed fishing and boating. He was a jack-of-all-trades, a fixer upper, knew carpentry, including remodeling several homes. He fought the good fight until the end.
A viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, Texas, on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 620 N Dunlap, Mission, Texas, on March 31, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573, on March 31, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
