Rosa Aminta Villarreal

Rosa Aminta Villarreal, of McAllen, Texas, passed away on her 64th birthday, April 29, 2025. Born in McAllen on April 29, 1961, Rosa lived a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Rosa was known for her vibrant spirit and sense of humor—always ready with a joke or a warm smile that could brighten any room. She had a special gift for bringing people together and was the heart of every family gathering. Her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them. A lover of music, Rosa found joy in the rhythm of life and shared that joy with those around her.

She is survived by her step mother; Ygnocencia Villarreal, her beloved sister, Suehayne Villarreal, and brothers Rafael Villarreal Jr., Ricardo Villarreal, and Omar Villarreal, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; Natashia, Stevie, John, Randy, Melissa, Ricky, Ralphy, Nicky, Ciera who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, Isabel Garza Tijerina and Rafael Villarreal, her brothers; Rene Villarreal and Rogelio Villarreal, nephews; Rene Villarreal and Roy Villarreal.

Rosa’s love, laughter, and legacy will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A visitation for Rosa will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7PM at Funeraria Del Angel 3611 N. Taylor Rd Mission, TX 78573.
