Silvia Perez

Silvia was born on April 19, 1952 in Diaz Ordas, Tamaulipas, Mexico to parents Daniel Villarreal and Altagracia Villarreal.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister; Idolina Villarreal, and her brother; Jose “Pepe” Villarreal.

Silvia is survived by her husband Angelino Simon Perez Bautista, her daughter; Noelia (Jose) Villanueva, son; Nathaniel E. (Laura A.) Perez, granddaughters; Lorena Martinez, Nathalie E. Perez, grandsons; Andrew J. Perez, Nathaniel E. Perez Jr, sisters; Guadalupe Vargas, Orfelinda Ramirez, Rosalinda Rodriguez, Altagracia Garza, Norma Lopez, Benita Diaz, Brothers; Daniel Villarreal, Jose “Beto” Villarreal.

Silvia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a caring friend. She had a beautiful contagious smile. She loved cooking and baking. Her favorite pastimes were crochet and playing scrabble. No one could beat her at that game. She took her time but ultimately always had the words with the higher points. She also enjoyed reading and taking care of her plants. Her smile, her meals and her lessons will be missed by many.

A visitation for Silvia will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A prayer service will occur Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A funeral will occur Monday, January 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. A burial will occur Monday, January 20, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Santa Fe Cemetery, 5050 Doffing Rd, Mission, TX 78574.

Silvia era una amorosa esposa, madre, abuela, hermana y una amiga cariñosa. Tenía una hermosa sonrisa contagiosa. Le encantaba cocinar y hornear. Sus pasatiempos favoritos eran el crochet y jugar al scrabble. Nadie podría vencerla en ese juego. Se tomó su tiempo pero al final siempre tenía las palabras con los puntos más altos. También disfrutaba leyendo y cuidando sus plantas. Muchos extrañaran su sonrisa, sus comidas y sus lecciones.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio para Silvia el domingo 19 de enero de 2025 de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. en Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. Se llevará a cabo un servicio de oración el domingo 19 de enero de 2025 en 7:00 p.m., 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573. El funeral se llevará a cabo el lunes 20 de enero. 2025 a las 11:00 a. m., 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573.
