Victor Ramon Escobar, 64 years old, of Edinburg, TX passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother Josefina (Ybarra) Escobar and brother Hector Hugo Escobar. He is survived by father Ramon Escobar, wife Maria Suarez, daughter Marissa Lopez (David), grandsons David J. Lopez and Matthew Lopez, sister Rosa Socorro Escobar, brother Ricardo Escobar and step-daughter Veronica Guzman (Omar Landeros).
He was born on July 29, 1957 in Los Angeles, CA, grew up in El Paso, TX, and lived out his adult life in Edinburg, TX with a long-standing business in McAllen, TX. He will be remembered for his keen intelligence, his quick whit, his impeccable knowledge of history, his business savviness, his heart for giving, his willingness to help others, his immense love for his family, and his contagious sense of humor. And on that note, we conclude with his favorite joke: Guy walks into a doctor’s office with a duck on his head. Receptionist looks at him flabbergasted and says, “May I help you?!”. Duck responds, “Yeah, get this guy off my butt!”
