Vivian Iris Alvarez

Vivian Iris Alvarez, age 1 year and 6 months passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was born on February 17, 2022 to Andrew and Liliana Alvarez in Edinburg, TX.

Vivian is survived by her parents; mother Liliana Alvarez and Andrew Alvarez; her brother Angel;

grandmother Alma Ruth Alvarez, grandmother Maria Garcia and grandfather Jose Ramirez.

Vivian was preceded in death by her brother Aaron Alvarez and her grandfather Alvaro Alvarez.

Vivian Iris Alvarez was a donor and donated her heart, valves and tissue to the University Health Transplant Institute where she saved the lives of 9 precious babies. Vivian's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she saved and will be cherished by those she leaves behind.

A visitation for Vivian will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and a baptismal service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Mission, followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Valley Memorial Gardens, Mission, TX.
