He grew up with three siblings, Anastasia, Mauro, and Precy. He met his wife Josefina Alcantara in Laoag City. Together they raised their only daughter, Sylvia (Dela Cruz) Grospe. He emigrated to the United States with his wife Josefina in 1990 to join Sylvia and her husband, Efren, to care for his three grandchildren, Nicole (Grospe) English, Kristoff, and Andre.
He traveled the world, visiting Las Vegas, New York City, Canada, Europe, the Vatican, and Australia. He welcomed into his family Nicole’s husband Jason English and Kristoff’s wife Katherine Sherbo. Nicole and Jason are parents to his two great-grandchildren, Maximilian and Olivia.
Andres passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 94 years of age, at his home surrounded by loved ones in Laguna Niguel, California.
He is survived by Josefina, Sylvia, Efren, Nicole, Jason, Max, Olivia, Kristoff, Katherine, and Andre.
