Carol Joy Carter passed on December 29th, 2023. Carol was originally from Leachville, AR. but spent much of her life in Memphis, TN. She was an amazing, loving mother to her only child, Kevin F. Carter.
Carol, or Mrs. Joy, as she was called by all that knew her, loved Kevin more than life itself. Kevin was truly blessed to have had Mrs. Joy at his home when she passed. Her passing came very unexpected, but it was just time for her to rejoin God in Heaven.
Joy was a God fearing, loving, honest, kind person who you could always count on. She always had a smile on her face with a very welcoming presence to anyone she met.
She will be missed greatly by her son, friends, and her church group.
