Emry was born on February 24, 2017, in Newport Beach, California, the third child of Brent and Jamie Borgquist. She was as entertaining as she was beautiful. From a young age, Emry was advanced beyond her years. She loved going to her gymnastics class, singing, dancing and putting on a show for her family and friends. Emry loved to dress up as her favorite Disney princesses, look pretty, wear makeup (always lots of makeup) and play with her many friends in her Reggio neighborhood. She was the most coordinated, loving and sensitive little girl. She probably cried at least once every day of her life. She loved to ride her scooter and ride around the house on her sister's hoverboard. She had the funniest personality and loved to make people laugh. Everyone loved to be around Emry. She loved BIG, especially her older sister, Bailey and brothers, Cade and Ben. She adored her many aunts, uncles and especially all her cousins. She was always the happiest when she was with her family.
Emry deeply loved her pre-school class and the time she spent at Ms. Laurie's and Principle Pat's house. She also loved going to Ms. Nicole's house to play with her friends each week. Emry loved her sunbeam class at church and loved to sing and learn primary songs each Sunday. She loved good food, especially Chick-fil-A nuggets (with ranch) and french fries. She loved to swim and spend time at the pool or the beach with her family and friends. She loved to color, paint, and do floor puzzles. Emry could never go to bed without "huggies and kissies" from Mom and Dad and always gave the most tender hugs. Most of all, she adored her mommy, Jamie, who was her very best friend and who loved being "Emmy's mommy" more than anything.
Emry is survived by her father, Brent, her mother, Jamie; her sister, Bailey; her brothers, Cade and Ben; her grandparents, D.Thomas (grandpa Tom) & Leslie (grandma Leslie) Borgquist, Mark (papa) & Myra (grandma Mymy) Reichmann, Renee (nana) Watson and her great-grandmother, Jean (gigi) Bleak. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, all of whom she adored.
The Borgquist Family would especially like to thank members of the Orange County Sheriff Department, emergency paramedics and medical personnel at Providence Mission Hospital who did everything possible to care for and save Emry's life. Their love and devotion to our little girl will never be forgotten. Thank you to all who have shown such love and concern to Emry and her family during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for your prayers, love and support.
