Gerald Robert Jacobs II

Gerald Robert Jacobs II (“Jerry”) of Orange County California left this life on December 24, 2018. He was 29 years old. Jerry was born on August 6, 1989 in Fountain Valley, California. He spent his younger years in Minnesota and returned to the Golden State with his Mother, Tamiko and brother, Andrew when he was in grade school.

There will be a celebration of life for Jerry on Saturday February 16th at 1:00pm at Fairhaven Memorial Services Chapel, 27856 Center Drive, Mission Viejo, CA 92692.

Jerry was a caring father, loyal brother, and loving son. He was an artist, and an animator of family and friends. His specialty in art was names and faces. Jerry was a generous and sympathetic soul. He had the aptitude for encouraging others, and provided solace in troubled times. His quick wit and contagious grin could either get him into, or out of trouble, quite often the former.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Gerald Robert Jacobs (“Bear”). He is survived by his son and light-of-his-life Denim, brother and co-collaborator in challenges, Andrew, mother, Tamiko Thompson, step-father Erik Thompson, and grandparents Luis Pedroza, Mei Pedroza, Gertrude Jacobs, and Bruce Jacobs, as well as a large clan of Jacobs' aunts, uncles, and cousins.
