Joseph Volpe of Mission Viejo, California, passed away January 30, 2024 at the age of 56. He was born to Barbara and Anthony Volpe on January 16, 1968 in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he grew up as the youngest of three children.
When he was sixteen years old, he and his family moved to Huntington Beach, California where he attended Edison High School. He later attended California State University Long Beach where he received his bachelors degree in Political Science. It was there he met Suzy, his wife of 30 years. Together they moved to Connecticut for Joe to attend his first year of Law School at Quinnipiac and later moved back to California to complete his Juris Doctorate at Whitter Law School. He began his career as a Public Defender in Los Angeles and then worked as legal counsel in Workers' Compensation in Orange, California. He was later given the opportunity to become a partner in the Law Firm that became Famiglietti & Volpe, where he spent the rest of his career.
Joe was the loving father of two children, Nick and Samantha. He enjoyed coaching his children and attending all of their events, working out, collecting baseball cards, watching Star Trek, old movies, and his many favorites including The West Wing and Downton Abbey. Above all Joe was a history buff and loved to debate anyone and everyone. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend and he will be incredibly missed by all the lives he touched.
