Joyce Toth, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was born August 13,1932, in Oakland, CA. At 8 years of age, Joyce lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, with her family and survived the attack on Pearl Harbor and the start of World War II. Joyce graduated from St Anthony's High School in 1949, met the love of her life Peter, married in 1951, and then had her two children Nancy and Paul. Joyce started college at the age of 38 and went on to receive her Associated Arts Degree, a Bachelors Degree, then her Masters Degree in English Literature and Spanish. Joyce taught at Long Beach City College. Joyce was a passionate gardener, a world traveler, a cat lover, and a champion of women's rights.
