Les is survived by his younger sister Rebecca Lynne Matsumoto. Les was born in the state of Indiana, and, along with his parents, moved to California at the age of 4. Les grew up in Huntington Beach, where he attended grade school, Marina High School, and Orange Coast College.
Les’s profession was a machinist. In Les’s adult life he resided in the city of Orange. Les was single. Les attended church on a regular basis. His hobbies were collecting model trains, and cycling. He also enjoyed watching baseball games, and going to car shows. He was kind and thoughtful, and he will be missed by his family and friends.
