Patricia Ann Murphy

She was a teenager during World War II and helped build electronic components for the military. In 1955, Pat moved from Massachusetts to California, with husband #1 Rainee Lavalee, and their 2 small children, David and Elizabeth. In 1961 Pat married husband #2, Edward H. Mailhot, and they had one son, Edward L. Mailhot. Pat was the grandmother of 2 children from her daughter Elizabeth, and 1 child from her son Edward and his wife Sofia. Pat married husband #3, James Murphy, in 1975 and inherited his 5 children and their family.

Pat was an amazing and positive person. Even when she lost her children David and Elizabeth within 3 months of each other, she remained positive and pressed on with life, knowing that she would see them both again. Pat was gifted all her life with the power of clairvoyance, and turned that gift into a career that spanned the last 50 years of her life, as she practiced trance mediumship, healing and psychic reading work. In the late 1970's she began teaching at the Healing Light Center in Glendale, before starting her own clinic with husband Jim.

She was most proud of being awarded a PhD in Psychology by a renowned European organization for her outstanding work in metaphysics.

Later in life she took to writing books, both fiction and non-fiction, including some fun children's books entitled "Carragan's Adventures", and her life story "3 times around and not counting".

Pat was a powerful soul packed into a tiny body, and she has left her mark with all who met her and were lucky enough to be a part of her life. She will be missed and celebrated always.
