It is with both sadness and peace that we say good-bye to our beloved Terry. Sadness because he has left a huge void in our lives. Peace because we know where he is and that he is whole again – dancing with Jesus! And no doubt he’s playing a game of golf, or two.
Terry celebrated his 35th wedding anniversary days before his passing. He may not have realized it but he sent the most beautiful roses to his bride. He was not only a loving husband but an amazing father! Terry couldn’t have been more proud of his children or loved them more than he did. He shared his love for the game of golf with his daughter Kelly and his love for baseball with his son Andrew. He shared his love for Christ with us all!
Terry had a quick wit and loved to laugh. He was a kind and giving soul always there to help a neighbor. He was a handy-man who seemed to be able to build, fix and repair just about anything. (minus the blow-dryer that he never mastered) Together with his wife Lisa they enjoyed the on-going DIY projects!
Terry was afflicted with a number of life altering events over the last 4 years but he NEVER lost his smile or the hope that filled his soul! He knew he would never be the same person after his first stroke, but he was such a happy man and touched the lives of everyone around him! He longed for the day that he stood before God who would say; ‘Well done, good and faithful servant’ Matthew 25:21
I’m sure he heard those words and so much more..
Until we see you again...We will miss you Terry!
