MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE STERLING FAMILY. I MET  CHRIS AND SUSAN THROUGH GARY AKA TV KING WHO ALSO PASSED AWAY. I AM SHORT OF WORDS. I HAVE NOTHING BUT WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF THE TIMES I WOULD VISIT THEM WHEN THE KIDS WERE SMALL. I WAS EVEN BLESSED TO BE IN THE DELIVERY ROOM WHEN THEIR SON CHRISTIAN WAS BORN. CHRIS WAS A WONDERFUL FATHER, HUSBAND AND FRIEND. I REMEMBER WHEN HE WOULD ASK IF MY DAUGHTER COULD BABYSIT FOR THEM AND THAT MADE ME FEEL PROUD BECAUSE I KNOW HOW MUCH THEY ADORE THEIR KIDS TO TRUST MY DAUGHTER TO BABYSIT. YOU WILL FOREVER BE IN OUR HEARTS. .  ANN , KANESHA AND WAYNE PAGE.

Uncle Chris, thank you for everything. Thank you for being such a big part of making our childhood so fun and full of love. From the pool days in the backyard to the neighborhood block parties, birthday celebrations, and etc.  My cousins and I always looked forward to the holidays because we knew it meant sleepovers at you and Auntie Susan’s house. Though you may not be here physically, your spirit lives on in every story we tell, every tradition we keep, and every time we come together as a family.

When you smile, you smile hard, lightening up the room. That one dance move you quickly display upon encouragement, as you always say you cannot dance, you put your everything in the dance displaying a part of your Island culture, I will always member your dance moments as everyone cheers you on. Thanks for the last meal you fed us at our 2025 Christmas family gathering, you were not there but your delicious Jerk chicken , Fried plantain and Festival was. Sweet sleep Chris. You are missed. B Vasquez Produce at the Houston Farmers Market will greatly miss Christopher. I was blessed to have known Christopher for many years. Every Sunday between 11am-12 noon time he was always sure to show up at the market. Everyone here knew Christopher and loved talking with him and to do business with him. All of us had respectfully nicknamed him “Jamaica”. Recently we had been asking for him since we hadn’t seen him but then sadly learned of his passing. We started reminiscing over our great stories and memories with him. He was much more than just a customer to us and can all agree he was a blessing to have known. He will be surely missed ! And was gone too soon but he just went a little ahead of us all! Good Bless You Christopher aka Jamaica and all your loved ones !! -Ben Vasquez Jr

“Chris” was a an excellent role model for his loved ones and his  sudden death has left a traumatic loss to all his loved ones.

Rip my friend my forever partner words can't express my love for you. If loving you is wrong then I don't want to be right. My love we had the best life together and I'll always cherish all our memories. If I could take one last dance or one last walk with you. I'm so glad we always express our love to each other sadly missed you my King. God's grace and blessings have covered us together always.
