

Roy lived a life centered on family, love, and commitment. He was first united in marriage to Ann, with whom he shared a loving bond and welcomed two sons, Roderick and John. After the passing of his beloved wife, Ann, he later found love again and married Carla. In this union, he embraced her three children as his own, creating a blended family built on care and acceptance.
Roy will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his strength. His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marinar and Ralton Thomas; his first wife, Ann; sons, Roderick and John; three brothers, Floyd, James, and Alvin; and one sister, Mary Jane.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Myla and Tyrese Hendon; his son, Everett Hendon; his life partner, Carla Thomas; his grandsons, James and Jonathan Thomas; his granddaughters, Reagan and Jhett; his great-grandchildren, Jade, Josiah and Keyshon; his sisters, Barbara (Calvin) Benson, Virginia Rideau, Debra (Donald) Mallet, Patricia McGraw, and Janice Johnson; his brothers, Ralton (Brenda) Thomas, Larry Thomas, and Joseph (Brenda C.) Thomas; daughters in-law Trealla Epps (Roderick) and Kenyetta Thomas (John) along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
