Funeral Service for Ada Carolyn (Bolen) White, 79 a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, will be Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. James Willis McInnis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Valhalla Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home.
Mrs. White passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on January 18, 1940 to John Lesley Bolen and Viola (Logan) Bolen. She was a member of Valhalla Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and gardening and never met a stranger.
She was life member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the VFW Post 49 and the American Legion Post 153. She was passionate for her work supporting the Veterans. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society and the DonDonas.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph (Buddy) Bolen, caretaker, Jorge Lopez, stepsons, Sonny White, Jimmy White, 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Gene White, sisters, Dorothy (James) Cochran, Joyce (Reese) Jernigan, Olean Bolen, and brother, James Bolen.
