Alice Hosfelt Pierce – born April 25, 1928, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Sunday, October 5 2014 at home. She was the Matriarch of her family who will be greatly missed. She is survived by two daughters, Angela Pierce Dolan and Cheryl Ann (Trenton) Davis; seven siblings, Earl Sandoz, Clyde W. Hosfelt, Charles W. Hosfelt, Lillian Marie McCrary, James Edward Hosfelt, Marion Cazalas and Winston Hosfelt; four grandchildren, Demi Davis, Alexi Cox, Maranda Davis and Jerryd Dolan; five grandchildren, Courtney Davis, Austin Cox, Taylor Davis, Dalton Davis and Christian Cox; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services and interment were held Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery. The family received friends at Pine Crest Funeral Home at 1 p.m. prior to services.
