

Allen Stephen “Steve” Friloux – an 82 year-old native of New Sarpy, Louisiana and resident of Mobile passed away at his home on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Mr. Friloux served as a captain in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a former employee of Shell Chemical and retired from Pectin International as a Purchasing Manager after a career which took him and his family all over the United States and Brazil. Mr. Friloux was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Marie Weber Friloux, and his brother-in-law, Ralph St. Ament. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Donna Leverett Friloux; children, Deane Friloux (Theresa) and Randall Friloux (Kelley); beloved grandchildren, Olivia, Grace Anne, and Caroline Friloux; brother, James Friloux (Ethelyn “Bank”); sisters, Alice F. St. Ament and Suzanne Friloux; brother-in-law, Deane Leverett (Mary Leigh); other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Monday, January 16, 2012, from 5-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan, LA on Tuesday, January 17, at 12 noon. Entombment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
