Andrew Dudley Lindsey Sr.

He married the love of his life, Iva Nell (Sue) Cook, on September 5, 1952. Andrew was a patriot, a loving husband and father, and a gifted craftsman being in the construction industry for more than 60 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Iva Nell (Sue) Lindsey; his son, Gary Steele; and his grandsons, Jonathan Lindsey and Justin Lindsey.

He is survived by three sons, Andrew D. Lindsey Jr., Stanley C. Lindsey (Marci), and Kenneth R. Lindsey (Danette); one daughter, Marla Sutherland (Tony); and twelve grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and close friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, at Oak Park Church of God, 3321 Sollie Road. Family viewing will be at 8:30 AM, friends viewing will be from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, and service time will be at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will be held at the Mobile Memorial Gardens (Veteran's section).
