Ann Myers Partain – a native of Coal City, AL and resident of Mobile, AL died Saturday, Mar. 30, 2013 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Alexander Partain; father, Douglas Monroe Myers; and mother, Lucy Vaughn. She is survived by her son, Charles M. (Wilma) Thompson; two daughters, Pamela (Jim) Taylor and Melanie (Ron) Blake; seven grandchildren, Chase (Janet) Thompson, Douglas Taylor, Claudia (Seth) Neal, Channing (Tom) Carder, Brent (Katherine) Blake, Jillian (David) Carden and Chandler Thompson; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services and interment will be Tuesday, Apr. 2, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery West. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made to Sav-A-Life, Mobile, AL.
