Annette Elizabeth McCrary

Born June 21, 1928, the 10th child of Mazie Gottschalk and Christopher James Biehl. Annette was born and raised in Mobile and was a long-time member of Riverside Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mazie Gottschalk Biehl; her father, Christopher James Biehl; husband, Walter M. McCrary (Bubba); her son, Terrill M. (Terry) McCrary; six sisters, Florence, Margie, Heinnie, Edna, Detta and June; and her three brothers, Christopher James (Bubba), Hugh Comptom (Comp), and Sidney Biehl.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patty McCrary; grandsons, Micah M. McCrary (Amanda), JT McCrary (Jennifer), and Stephen Reams (Mary Morgan); five great-grandchildren, Chandler McCrary, Anniston McCrary, Ellisyn McCrary, Addyson Reams, and Adyn Reams; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their thanks to all the caregivers.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. May she rest in God’s loving hands.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery, located at 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama 36605.
