Mrs. Annie Jane Akridge, age 80, born in St. Elmo, Alabama and was a lifelong resident of Theodore, Alabama, died on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. She was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church and worked for Providence Hospital as a Phlebotomist for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Akridge. She will be sadly missed by her family; children, Deborah (Winston) Williams, Jeanne Tisa, Michael Akridge, David (Tammy) Akridge; four loving siblings, Marie, Betty, Dinah and Carlton ; many precious grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM from Higher Ground Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service.
