Annie Ruth Fleming Cook

Annie Ruth Fleming Cook, born February 20, 1923 in Lockhart, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Sunday, August, 17, 2014 at the age of 91. Ann was a homemaker who raised five children. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who always put everyone before herself. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thamer Ernest Fleming ad Roxie Havana Hayes Fleming, and her husband, Lester Green Cook, Jr. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Kenneth) Bauer of Foley, AL, Larry (Janet) Robbins of Baton Rouge, LA, Patricia (Bill) Hanks, Lester Green “Bubba” Cook, III and Brenda (Mickey) James, all of Mobile, AL; eight grandchildren, Angie Snyder, Kent Bauer, Brantley Robbins, Amy Robbins, Chris Hanks, Heather Walker, Jessica James and Brandon James; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 12:00 Noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:30 AM until Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
