Annie Laurie Henderson

Annie Laurie Henderson – a 92 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Throughout her life, Mrs. Henderson worked at a Kress Department Store and Brookley Field, was a former bookkeeper for Cottage Hill Church of Christ was the secretary for Henderson Construction. She lived in Holland for three years while her husband was working for Sea Land and enjoyed travelling around Europe during that time. A member of the Church of Christ her entire adult life, she formerly attended Plateau Church of Christ and Cottage Church of Christ, and was currently a member at Creekwood Church of Christ.

Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Homer Henderson. She is survived by her children, Annie Laurie Hinote (David), Henry Homer Henderson, Jr. (Debbie), and Ronald Steven Henderson (Carol); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends; and her beloved Pomeranian, “Copper.”

Funeral services will be held from Creekwood Church of Christ on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Creekwood Church of Christ, 1901 Schillinger Rd. S., Mobile, AL 36695.
